Take A Kid Fishing
The Take A Kid Fishing event will be July 27th this year. I really need your help. I need 30 boaters to help take kids fishing. We take 30 kids out from 9:30am to 11:00am and another 30 kids from 11:30am to 1:00pm. Every kid gets a new fishing pole from Muskegon Sport Fishermen. Trust me this will be the best thing you have ever done. Once you see the faces of the kids when they are on the boat, you won't forget it! Rember when someone took you fishing for the first time?

Show Me The Money
Join us for the Show Me The Money open event at Muskegon Lake June 28th. The event is open to all who wish to fish - no membership required. Tournament entry is $150 per boat plus $10 for big bass. Guaranteed payback of 92%. Sign up now as space is limited to the first 75 boats.
Take off will be at 6:30am, from Fishermen's Landing at Muskegon Lake on June 28th. Lake Michigan is off limits.

*** Urgent Release ***
Due to the high water levels from recent weather, we are switching the June 14th Grand River and the July 26th Muskegon Lake tournaments.
The June 14th tournament will be held at Muskegon Lake - Fishermen's Landing. Take off will be at 7:30AM. Weighin will be held at 3:30PM.
The July 26th tournament will be held at the Grand River - Riverside Park. Take off and weighin are normal times.

Dear Shoreline Bass Angler,
Hope that the winter is treating you well. This newsletter has loads of important information that you will need for the upcoming 2008 season. Please take time to read carefully each of the items below and also look over the rules.
Sponsors - A huge thank you goes out to all of our Shoreline Bass Tour sponsors. Without their support our circuit would not be as great as it is. Please thank our sponsors any chance that you get to. Also, if anyone knows of any new sponsors please contact me with that information.
Registration - Attached to this letter is a registration form along with rules for the 2008 season. Please take time to fill out neatly/completely the form and mail it to the address below with a check made out to either Shoreline Bass Tour or Ed Opalek. Please mail the check and entry form to: Ed Opalek, 62 Michigan St., Twin Lake, Michigan, 49457. The entry form and money need to be in by April 15th to take part in an early draw. Entries received after April 15th will be first come first serve in take off position. If you sign up as a team the membership is $40 ($20 per man/woman). If you sign up as a single the membership is $20. Again this year Hamlin Lake will be a pre-pay tournament. If you would like to pay early for Hamlin add $100 extra when you mail in your entry form.
Classic - This year we are going back to our old classic format. It will be a one day classic and each of the five lakes will be put into a hat and drawn out at the end of the fifth qualifier.
BE READY - In our rules it states that take off time will be at 6:30am light permitting. You must have your boat in the water at 6:30AM and ready to go! Plan on taking off at 6:30AM with light permitting. |
